As this does of course vary the original terms of the booking, you are absolutely entitled to cancel without charge, or alternatively we may be able to place you in one of our other properties subject to availability at no extra cost.

To comply with local authority planning, we’ve made the decision as a business to move this property to the ‘super luxe’ end of the market to provide these additional services. To ensure this transition is successful, we’ve an amazing live-in host to host our future groups.
For 2023 onwards, all our bookings will be for this premium service.
As your original booking was made before this upgraded service was launched, we will hold your original price and provide this host service for no extra cost (including chilled Prosecco!).
As the host is live-in, there is no option to ‘opt-out’ of this service – however we’re 100% certain you’ll enjoy the benefits of this premium service.
Your host will be fully vetted and checked.

Good Neighbourhood Policy
Please note that we operate a strict Good Neighbourhood policy. We ask that you please respect your neighbours and keep the noise to a reasonable level. The Steam House has internal and external sound monitoring equipment and external CCTV equipment installed for guests’ safety and security. Sound monitoring systems comply with privacy laws as they only record decibel levels rather than audio recordings. All CCTV is held and handled securely in line with relevant legislation.
