The Bath Christmas Market has grown and grown in popularity over the years and has even featured in UK Vogue’s top ten best Christmas Markets to visit; with over 260 chalets, the market will run this year from Thursday 23rd November to Sunday 10th December, offering artisanal gifts from local designers and makers.

Bath buildings and streets, of course, will be festooned with the lights throughout the city. The front of the Bath Abbey will be home to the annual tree with traditional Christmas celebrations including street entertainment, carol-singing, and a Victorian carousel outside the Roman Baths. There’s more – follow the trail of illuminated iconic and historic buildings and several festival stalls along Kingston Parade and across Abbey Green.
The Winter Wonderland at The American Museum & Gardens returns this December with a stunning 18-foot Nordmann fir tree in the central hall of the house, dressed with 9000 twinkling lights and unique ornaments. The frosty gardens also provide perfect twilight views across the valley and pretty lights.
Bath on Ice – returns to Royal Victoria Park on November 17th, until January 3rd. Alongside the family friendly ice rink is Moguls Alpine bar, the prefect post skate place to meet for a warming hot chocolate or mulled cider or artisan pizza. You can book parties and benefit from group party packages or choose a toddler only session. Either way this is a must-do to get you firmly in the festive spirit.
Glow Golf – is also in Royal Victoria Park and is conveniently next to the skate rink for pre or post golf refreshments.Hit glow in the dark balls around a 9-hole course for after dark fun suitable for most of the family. Runs November 17th until January 3rd 2024.
