2. Pulteney Bridge

The Pulteney Bridge has been designated as a Grade I listed building and is one of only four bridges in the world to have shops across its full span on both sides, the others being the Venetian Rialto Bridge, Krämerbrücke in Erfurt in Germany and Ponte Vecchio in Florence. Were you even in Bath if you didn’t have your photo taken on one of the most iconic and romantic backdrops in the city of Bath. Top tip, if your camera skills allow, this is a night-time shot too.

3. The Royal Crescent

The Pump Rooms is home to the source of the Pump Rooms hot springs and to a ballroom that has seen the great and the good of Bath promenade through it across the years, including Jane Austen and Charles Dickens, no less. Elegant, refined, polished and sophisticated. If you’re looking to impress, look no further!

6. Hot Air Balloon Ride

See Bath from the very best vantage point. Hot Air Balloon flights take off daily from Victoria Park, during the warmer months and offer a bird’s eye view of the city. And if you’re not great with heights, join friends with a picnic and watch the balloons go up and head skywards towards Bristol, the Cotswolds, or the Mendip Hills.

This National Trust signposted walk really will give you a new appreciation of Bath. Sensible footwear is a must for this view of the city, but your efforts will be rewarded on this rolling 6 miles of meadows and ancient woodlands.
